This company are a locally-based SME specialising in the supply of products to the hospitality industry with a great local and national reputation.
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse leader to fulfil this role:
- Reporting into the Shift Manager
- To plan, organise, supervise and participate in daily warehouse operation and activities
- Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse employees
- Assign workloads to warehouse workers
- Pack and prepare orders for delivery
- Complete requisitions for needed materials to assure adequate stock levels
The successful candidate:
- You will be a hands-on leader of people
- Experience in a temperature-controlled environment would be highly beneficial
- You will have previous experience in a leadership role
- You should have 3PL/FMCG experience
- Good communication skills essential
- You will be required to lift, carry, push or pull reasonably heavy weights
- You will be required to move around alongside machinery and be exposed to marked changes in temperature and humidity
